.To use simply place unit on turfgrass area to be measured.2.The weight of the unit will put the correct amount of pressure on the turf unless the turf has a thicklayer of thatch or is extremely soft. lf surface is extremely soft, press down slightly on unit until itsits firmly against the ground surface.
3.Look directly down at the unit at a 9o degree angle to see the exact hejaht of cut.4.0ne side of the scale shows measurements in inches and the other side shows millimeters.cut by looking across the entire prism to be sure the turf isevenly5.You can alsoinspect the auality ofcut.
